Can be used in homes with dogs and cats. Never spray directly on animals Permethrin is a substance toxic to cats above certain concentrations. This is why it must not be applied to cats or any other pets, and they should be kept in a separate room during application. The room should be left vacant until the product has dried (1 hour) and the room aired. Permethrin binds to the surface upon which it has been applied, minimising the risk of exposure to people and pets, whilst still killing fleas.
